Amazing pictures of Basal Cell Carcinoma healed with Frankincense Essential OilBy
I’m always looking for essential oil success stories so I was so grateful to stumble on this one. I put “frankincense” into the YouTube search engine, and this video happened to be attached at the end of another video.
Some wonderful woman, whose name I found out later on is Misty, took compassion on this man suffering from Basal Cell Carcinoma and shared her essential oils with him. This is beautiful to me for two reasons:
1. She KNOWS Young Living essential oils are tested for purity and that they really do heal so she had complete faith that if this man used her oils according to her instructions, he would be healed.
2. She gave away her family’s stash of oils to help someone else. If her family had had an emergency, she would not have had enough oils left to help her family. (After my daughter had a severe concussion and 10 days later my son broke his nose, I keep enough stash for future emergencies.)
The end of the video includes an email address where you can ask the author more about the essential oils used to heal this man’s hand. I emailed Misty and asked her what oils she used and what company of oils she used. This screen shot shows a portion of our email thread. If you click on the screen shot, it will open open into another window as a bigger image so you can read it.
The Protocol Part I
As the video below and the email above indicate, Misty instructed her friend to use 2 to 3 drops of Thyme Essential Oil from Young Living 2 to 3 times a day. Thyme contains the compound thymol which can make the skin feel like its burning so she covered the wound with olive oil. The olive oil helped keep the essential oil from flashing off so quickly, kept the wound moist, and relieved the sensation that the Thyme oil was burning the skin. (Tiffany’s note: while essential oils rich in thymol give the sensation they are burning, it is only a sensation and is not damaging to skin tissue. Some people experience a temporary rash and irritation, but Young Living’s Thyme essential oil is not toxic and does not damage tissue.) The man was then instructed to cover the entire area with a bandage. The video shows how quickly the cancer progressed in healing.
Day One: (13 seconds into the video) It is scary to see how indented the hand is due to the cancer eating away his cells. This is such a large section of his hand so we know that he has had cancer for a while. The eroded area begins just below the fingers and extends to just above the wrist.
Day Seven: (24 seconds into the video) Wow, portions of the indentations have regenerated and are already filling in. There is a great amount of scabbing which indicates lots of healing. The pigmentation has drastically changed from dark red to dark pink. It is beginning to look more like a huge sore from an infection rather than erosion from a cancer.
Day Fourteen: (32 seconds into the video) Wow, no indentations whatsoever. No scabbing whatsoever. Some of the areas where there was deeper indentations and which take longer to heal are filled in with tissue and dark red in color. The areas of shallow indentations are now filled in with tissue and changed from dark pink to medium pink in color. Skin integrity and elasticity has greatly improved.
Day Twenty-one: (45 seconds into the video) You can see that a second layer of healing has begun because the skin is scabbing again. Skin integrity has gained more density. The color is pinking up beautifully. The red areas are shrinking in circumference.
Misty’s email says that by the sixth week, there were only two tiny sores remaining.
The Protocol Part II
Day Twenty-two: (58 seconds into the video, and as per the second half of the email above) Misty instructed the man to dilute one drop of frankincense to every one drop of olive oil. To keep the area moist, she covered it with a bandage and then saran wrap. (Tiffany’s note: My guess is that with this size of cancer on his hand that each application would require 8-12 drops of frankincense with 8-12 drops of olive oil. I eye-balled my own hand to come up with this amount. I looked at the pictures and saw that the cancer extended just below three finger joints and extended to one inch above his wrist. I then dotted my own hand with oil to see how much area it would cover and came up with this guess of 8-12 drops of frankincense and 8-12 drops of olive oil. If you have cancer, you may want to use this same formula for guest-i-mating how much essential oil and how much olive oil you need for the area you are covering.)
Misty reports that the frankincense “started pulling up cancer below the skin we didn’t even know was there”. (Spelling was corrected.) She comments on how the cancer stinks because the saran wrap kept the area moist. I hear this a lot as tissue dies off and sloughs off. Just as with anything that stinks when it dies, I can imagine how horrible it must smell.
Here is the picture she emailed me of what the cancer looks like now since the frankincense initiated another level of healing. You can see how scaly the skin is from sloughing off dead tissue. Misty says she will update her You Tube video to show how the cancer changed after adding frankincense to the protocol. When she updates it, I will amend this article.
Her email says the picture is from two weeks ago so that must be around the first of December which would make this now four months into healing this. Misty says the man didn’t use the frankincense according to her instructions, and therefore the healing was “slow going”. But once he did start applying the frankincense more often, the healing sped up. Good job, MISTY!
Misty has no certifications in applying essential oils and look what great results her friend is having. Misty has read that frankincense and thyme for good for certain types of cancers. She has heard the results others are having with healing cancers with essential oils. She has read the science. Her faith that the oils would heal her friend is what drove her to help him. She is compassionate and was generous in sharing her own family’s rations of oils to help her friend.
Misty’s email address is email@example.com. She can answer any more questions you have about what she did for this man’s case with Basal Cell Carcinoma.
I am in no way saying that Misty or I at the time I write this article are qualified or certified to write protocols for diagnoses made by qualified doctors. I am saying that both Misty and I have read the science, we have read the amazing healing stories others are having with essential oils, we know that when essential oils are applied correctly that we can achieve the same results, and we want to share that success with others. We know that Young Living essential oils are tested for purity and for the right percentages of healing constituents. We know that when they are used correctly, that they do give the body what it needs to heal itself.
Update as of April 7th, 2011
Misty updated her You Tube video. Her friend had quit using the oils for a while, but when he picked them up again, he used them a few times a day, which resulted in pretty, pink skin. Check out the video below. Truly AMAZING!
